Welcome to Tucson Community Acupuncture!
Our mission is to provide affordable, high quality acupuncture to the Tucson community. We do this by offering individualized treatments in a quiet, open setting and asking you to decide what you can afford on a sliding scale ($15-35). We want you to come often enough to really be able to get better and stay better, and the sliding scale is our way of helping you make that commitment. There is an additional $10 paperwork fee for your first appointment.
You can book an appointment online or call us at 881-1887 to schedule a visit. New patients can also download our First Time Visit paperwork (pdf file). We look forward to seeing you!
New Acupuncturist and Expanded Schedule
TCA has a new acupuncturist, Josh Whiteley, starting in February. Josh recently moved to Tucson from Boulder, where he attended the Southwest Acupuncture College. He has had a longtime interest in community acupuncture and is eager to begin serving many people in the Tucson community. We are offering two promotions this month (see below) to help him get busy from the start.
With Josh starting, we are once again able to expand our hours to better serve your needs. This includes more morning hours (all mornings will start at 9 am) and a Sunday shift (11 am-2 pm). You can also download our new schedule (effective 2/8) as a printable PDF file.
February 2-for-1 Promotion
Back by popular demand! During the month of February, return patients can bring a first-time visitor to the clinic for free! Both of you will be booked together in a special 2-for-1 spot under the returning patient's last name (which means, yes, you do need to come at the same time). Pay only one fee on our sliding scale ($15-35) for the both of you. To book an appointment for this promotion call us at 881-1887 or book online (be sure to choose the "February 2-for-1 Promotion" under "Select Treatment").
Whole Foods Employee Promotion
Do you work at Whole Foods? We've got a deal just for you! Between Feburary 1-13 all Whole Foods employees can come to the clinic for a free new patient appointment. Simply book as a new patient and show your employee ID when you come. To schedule, call us at 881-1887 or book online.
Free Acupuncture: Grand Re-Opening Celebration
Last fall TCA started working on expanding our space by an additional 700 square feet. We've been using our new lobby and bathroom for a few months now, but will be opening up additional treatment space this month. This will give us more room to have two acupuncturists work at the same time during peak hours. We will be celebrating our Grand Re-Opening for the space on February 14th (Chinese New Year). We will have yummy treats on hand and also free acupuncture treatments for all. Please join us!
Free Acupuncture
February 14, 2010
11am - 4 pm
Free for all!
We won't be taking appointments, so you can just walk-in between 11 am and 4 pm. All three of our acupuncturists will be poking and we will have plenty of recliners on hand, so we hope to serve many, many people (and beat our record of 108 treatments from New Year's Day). Bring a friend or two, and help us spread the word to anyone who has been wanting to give acupuncture a try. If you have questions, please call us at 881-1887.

TCA is excited to be selling the new book Acupuncture Is Like Noodles as part of a fundraiser to bring affordable acupuncture to more people. This book explains not only how acupuncture works, but how community acupuncture clinics work. Written by the founders of Working Class Acupuncture in Portland, Acupuncture Is Like Noodles is a book for patients, acupuncture students and prospective acupuncture students, licensed acupuncturists, other medical providers, and anyone else who is curious about the “calmest Revolution ever staged.”
A portion of each book sale goes to the Community Acupuncture Network. Funds will be used to help start more community acupuncture clinics around the country.
