Welcome to Tucson Community Acupuncture!
Our mission is to provide affordable, high quality acupuncture to the Tucson community. We do this by offering individualized treatments in a quiet, open setting and asking you to decide what you can afford on a sliding scale ($15-35). We want you to come often enough to really be able to get better and stay better, and the sliding scale is our way of helping you make that commitment. There is an additional $10 paperwork fee for your first appointment.
You can book an appointment online or call us at 881-1887 to schedule a visit. New patients can also download our First Time Visit paperwork (pdf file). We look forward to seeing you!

Back-to-School Week 2010
Free Acupuncture September 13-19
We are excited to be hosting our third annual Back-to-School Week! We know how stressful school can be, so we are once again inviting teachers, students, and school employees to try a free introductory treatment during the week of September 13-19. This promotion is for first-time visitors with a school ID (under age 18 requires parental consent). You can schedule for the Back-to-School promotion by calling 881-1887 or book your appointment online (be sure to select a date between September 13-18).
Please help us spread the word about this community event! You can download the Back-to-School Flyer (PDF file) if you would like to post it somewhere or email to folks who might be interested.
2-for-1 Mondays in August
We are continuing the 2-for-1 promotion due to popular demand! In August, the promotion will run in concert with our extended Monday schedule. Return patients can bring a first-time visitor to the clinic for free any Monday in August. Appointments are available from 2pm to 8pm.
This promotion is a great way to introduce family and friends to acupuncture. After a brief chat with the acupuncturist (new patient paperwork not required) your friend will be treated alongside you in the community treatment room. Pay only one fee on our regular sliding scale ($15-35) for the two of you. Appointments are required and there may be limited availability during peak times. You can reserve your spot by calling 881-1887 or book your appointment online (be sure to select the 2-for-1 Mondays promotion).
New Treatment Room Open
Last fall Tucson Community Acupuncture began an expansion of our current space by 700 square feet. We've been operating out of our new lobby for a few months now and are excited to finally have our additional treatment room open.
We've added triple-pane glass to the windows in our previous lobby and have set up five comfortable recliners to create an additional treatment "pod." The added treatment stations will be useful as we begin to have more than one acupuncturist work at a time—and it is also a great place for those who bring their own tunes to listen to on a headset (or prefer no music) and those that enjoy a smaller group setting. Feel free try out one of the new recliners on your next visit.
To take a tour of our expanded space, visit our photo album on Facebook.

TCA is excited to be selling the new book Acupuncture Is Like Noodles as part of a fundraiser to bring affordable acupuncture to more people. This book explains not only how acupuncture works, but how community acupuncture clinics work. Written by the founders of Working Class Acupuncture in Portland, Acupuncture Is Like Noodles is a book for patients, acupuncture students and prospective acupuncture students, licensed acupuncturists, other medical providers, and anyone else who is curious about the “calmest Revolution ever staged.”
A portion of each book sale goes to the Community Acupuncture Network. Funds will be used to help start more community acupuncture clinics around the country.
